Paul has spent the last 15 years as practice manager in east midlands law firms and has previous experience in both the public sector (HM Customs & Excise, Department of Employment Group) and the private sector (Astra Training Services Ltd, Arthur Andersen SA) giving him a broad business background.

Paul graduated from Nottingham Business School with an MBA in 2000 and is a member of the Chartered Management Institute.

He is married to Judith and has three children, Joshua, Hannah and Evie.
