Fraser Brown’s commitment to training and development has encouraged two newly qualified solicitors to
stay with the Nottingham-based firm.
Will Cursham and Rhian Davies were both taken on for two-year training contracts in 2007 during which
they gained experience in a range of departments within the firm. Both now qualified, they have taken up
positions in the litigation and franchising departments and are looking forward to developing their careers
further.
Rhian is the newest member of the franchise property team. She said, "Fraser Brown has experts
working in so many areas of law it is a really good place to undertake a training contract. Since starting
I have been able to work with both commercial and private clients, allowing me to gain a rounded experience
and an insight into both sides of the business."
Will is now working in litigation, and is also part of the newly formed Equine and Agricultural Law
team, reflecting his outside interest of horse riding and eventing. Will added, "I regarded Fraser
Brown to be the firm offering the best training opportunity in the Nottingham area. Its focus upon the
younger trainees is very encouraging and I know that I’ll receive plenty of support and motivation as I
further my career too."
Peter Thornley, the firm’s Managing Partner passed on his congratulations to Will and Rhian. He said,
"Fraser Brown is committed to helping young professionals further their career, offering them all the
advice and support we can along the way. Will and Rhian are already proving to be valuable additions to
their teams and we’re happy to be helping them to progress their careers in their chosen departments. We
always look to take on trainees who have the talent and desire to develop a long term career with
us."
