Fraser Brown Solicitors are celebrating after being one of the first law firms in the country to be accredited by the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS).
The Law Society set up the CQS initiative this year to ensure the highest standards in home buying are recognised and easily visible to home-buyers.
Becca Soar, head of residential property at Fraser Brown said "We are really pleased to receive the accreditation. It is a recognised quality standard for residential conveyancing practices and reflects the hard work and professionalism of our team."
There are many costs involved in buying a property and whilst savings can be made in some areas, cutting back on legal expenses could end up being more costly in the long term. The conveyancing process can be complicated and any mistakes could lead to any liabilities falling on the buyer.
Becca added "Buying a house is a major life event and legal matters can get confusing and in-depth, so choosing a firm who are CQS accredited gives added assurance that no corners will be cut in the legal process and home-buyers will receive a thorough, knowledgeable service."
