Ludorati Café Bar, a premier board game venue located in the heart of Nottingham’s city centre will be welcoming its first customers at a Grand Opening on Saturday, 19th March.
The café has a dedicated space for board gamers to enjoy over 750 classic and alternative games, whilst it also boasts a general seating area, where customers can enjoy an enviable selection of drinks and food across the day. Ludorati has taken several years of business planning, considerable time, effort and investment to arrive at this point but is set to offer the board game lovers and general customers an experience like never before. Customers can expect themed events, introductory learning sessions and tournaments and the café will also offer them a retail area stocking the latest games as well as access to its online store with thousands of games that can be collected in-store.
Jo Soar, licensing specialist at Fraser Brown Solicitors has worked with Ludorati’s Managing Director, Nick Higgins and Toby Robinson, the Operations Director on securing the licence for the premises. Jo comments: “I am very pleased to have been involved in such an exciting concept for Nottingham. I spent many hours of my own childhood playing board games and I’m sure the venue will attract many customers of all ages. Whilst it is always a challenge to obtain new premises licences in the saturation zone, we were able to reach an agreement with the police to the satisfaction of all parties”.
Nick Higgins comments: ‘’Ludorati Cafe would like to thank Jo Soar and Fraser Brown for their assistance on procuring our licence. We are very much looking forward to Saturday and welcoming all those who wish to Relax. Play. Enjoy...’’
