Fraser Brown has promoted three property specialists following the rapid expansion of the real estate team over the last 12 months.
Natalie Barnes, a commercial property lawyer, has been promoted to senior associate and Johanna Goddard and Karen Brammer have secured associate positions in the residential conveyancing department.
Fraser Brown has one of the largest real estate departments in the East Midlands and the residential conveyancing team was recently highly commended in the East Midlands Conveyancing Firm of the Year category at the national Law Firm Services Conveyancing Awards 2016.
Patrick Wood, managing partner at Fraser Brown, said: “Our business model has always been to recognise and acknowledge commitment within the firm and these are three very worthy promotions.
“The property market continues to be buoyant and we are an ambitious team who as part of an ongoing growth strategy, have expanded the department and services we offer over the last 12 months to take full advantage of market conditions.
“Natalie is a very talented solicitor and has been instrumental to the growth of the team. Her promotion is in recognition of this commitment and I look forward to seeing her career continue to flourish.
“Johanna and Karen have over 35 years of domestic conveyancing experience between them and have both heavily contributed to the success of the department.
With a team of 30 real estate professionals, Fraser Brown boast Nottingham’s largest conveyancing department.”
Natalie joined Fraser Brown six years ago and is a well-respected commercial property
lawyer in the region. She specialises in freehold and long leasehold sales and purchases, leases, and commercial development work.
She said of her promotion: “I’m proud to be a part of such a dynamic firm and to have my
contribution recognised is fantastic. I love what I do - working with Fraser Brown’s exciting client base and talented real estate team - and I look forward to continuing my career here.”
Johanna qualified in 1996 and joined Fraser Brown in 2013. Karen, who joined Fraser Brown four years ago, qualified in 2001.
Both Johanna and Karen cover all aspects of domestic conveyancing including sales, purchases and remortgages of freehold and leasehold property, new builds, shared ownership, right to buy purchases, transfers of equity and probate sales.
Johanna and Karen are both delighted at having been promoted to associates both in recognition of their experience and the contribution they have been able to make towards the success of the department.
