Make a statutory declaration or swear on oath or affidavit
Some written documents will need to be sworn on oath. This requires you to make your usual signature and then take the bible in your right hand and repeat some wording stating that the contents of the document are true. If you do not wish to swear on the bible, you can choose to ‘affirm’ instead.
There is a set fee for this service.
